His accounting and audit background enables him to understand clients’ financial systems and advise on weaknesses and suggested changes or improvements thereto. He holds a BCom Financial Management degree from the University of South Africa and an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and he is a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants.
